CCM introduces its new 591 turning angle on the Axis A2.5, which is based on the very popular 590 or 60 degree turning angle, but redesigned to improve lock-in and feel. Paired with a completely new one-piece LITECORE sleeve design, the Axis A2.5 offers a large blocking surface to show off the shooter and allow for a natural catch. In the glove pocket, CCM has taken the great success of the previous models and added the straight double T on the Axis A2.5. This pocket allows the goalkeeper to look completely into the pocket and still give in to a soft catch. At the base of the T's spine is a U-shaped design that maintains a clean connection point and promotes simple draw and a play-ready feel. Inside the glove, CCM has completely changed the fit of the Axis A2.5. It now has a Cross Form strap, which secures the back of the hand through multiple attachment points. A Suregrip palm provides comfort and feel. The backhand and cuff use the new FlexMotion2 design, where the cuff offers strategic flex points and protection that allows a greater range of motion, the backhand has a strategic Tri-Flex design that offers unmatched high-impact protection.
