CCM Tacks AS-V Jr. Elbow Guards

New for 2022, CCM is revamping its Inline protection tacks. Backed by science, Tacks protection has been tested and validated in the renowned CCM laboratory to ensure quality and functionality. With updates in the design, protection and comfort aspects, the CCM Tacks AS-V Junior Hockey Elbow Pads are designed to offer elite protection and improve mobility.

Starting with the construction of the Tacks AS-V elbow pads, CCM has a new maximum coverage anatomical shield design and 2-piece flexmotion construction. ASD puts protection at the forefront, providing ultra comfort and a customizable fit. ASD is designed to offer a high level of coverage that follows the natural shape of the body while allowing maximum protection without sacrificing mobility.

On top of the Tacks AS-V Elbow Pads there will be a 2-piece floating articulated and compressed molded Eva foam bicep pad. This flexmotion bicep construction offers elite level protection and superior comfort and fit.

Just below the bicep protection is the JDP reinforced elbow pad with D30 inside and a molded EVA foam shell. This elite level elbow brace is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow, while D30 absorbs shock and impact within the pad.

Moving up to the forearm, the Tacks AS-V Elbow Guards include a cut protector with a sublimated lining. This injection molded forearm protector offers superior protection and a comfortable feel.

A new strapping system holds everything together on the Tacks AS-V elbow pads. Adaptfit straps offer a center lock strap plus a 360-degree wrap-around forearm strap. This locking center strap, along with the 360° front wraparound strap, allows for a snug fit without the elbow brace slipping. These keep the elbow pads close to the body to ensure they stay in place and allow for maximum protection.
