AluPli Composite Layers: CCM's AluPli aluminum layers help hold the carbon composite layers together, producing a stick that is more resistant to cracking and chipping compared to a pure composite construction.

Variable V-shaped handle: Inherited from the XF Pro goalie stick, the Tacks is controlled by a unique variable geometry handle, tapering from a traditional square top end to V-shaped profile shoulders.
Pronounced, rounded blade shoulders: Inherited from the XF Pro goalie stick, the variable V-shaped handle, along with the pronounced, rounded blade shoulders, positions the fingers with greater leverage on the blade. This gives the Tacks stick a precise and highly responsive feel.

StikTak Coating: CCM's high-adhesion, wavy-textured StikTak coating has been applied to the bottom of the handle and the shoulders of the club's Tacks blade, further improving grip.
