The AS-V Pro Tacks will feature a modern midpoint over the traditional midpoint. Still using a softer midsection to ensure maximum energy storage when loading the stick, the new modern mid kick has now been optimized to work better with wrist strikes. This will help aggressive shooters gain more puck speed and consistency with club handling and shots.
Sticking with your Skeleton+ stick for lever taper, which is better manufacturing technology, will provide greater reliability and durability in this crucial area of the lever. This will allow for better consistency and faster shots, no matter where you are on the ice.
For the shaft of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro, CCM is using their high performance Nanolite carbon layup technology combined with sigmatex extended trailer. This innovative layering of the fibers helps create a club that is both incredibly light and incredibly strong.
New to the Tacks AS-V Pro is the variable "V" axis geometry. This new shaft geometry allows for an easier and more consistent loading of the club to help increase the power of the wrist shot. Its shape transition along the axis guarantees maximum comfort and grip. Complementing the smooth geometry is ultra-fast microfeel grip. This graphic integrated raised grip in the center section of the shaft will ensure the perfect feel and control of the stick.
For the blade on the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro, CCM has a new Acufeel 2 blade, which is a second generation Acufeel blade that now includes sigmatex extended tow to further improve blade durability. The blade will continue to be softer to maximize hitting speed and puck feel.
