CCM Tacks AS-V PRO Mr. Elbow Pads
New for 2022, CCM is revamping its Inline protection tacks. Backed by science, Tacks protection has been tested and validated in the renowned CCM laboratory to ensure quality and functionality. With updates in the design, protection and comfort aspects, the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Senior Hockey Elbow Pads are designed to offer professional protection and improve mobility.
Starting with the construction of the Tacks AS-V Pro Elbow Guards, CCM has a new maximum coverage anatomical shield design and 2-piece flexmotion construction. ASD puts protection at the forefront, providing ultra comfort and a customizable fit. ASD is designed to offer a high level of coverage that follows the natural shape of the body while allowing maximum protection without sacrificing mobility.
On top of the Tacks AS-V Pro Elbow Guards there will be a 2-piece floating articulated and reinforced compressed molded Eva foam bicep protector and a sublimated liner. This flexmotion bicep construction offers pro-level protection and superior comfort and fit.
Just below the bicep protection is the JDP reinforced elbow guard with D30 inside and out. This pro-level elbow brace is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow, while the D30 absorbs shock both inside and outside the pad.
Going down to the forearm, the Tacks AS-V Pro Elbow Guards include a D30 smart material cut guard. This injection molded forearm protector offers superior protection and the D30 offers maximum shock and impact absorption all the way to the cuff of the glove.
A new strapping system holds everything together on the Tacks AS-V Pro Elbow Braces. Adaptfit+ straps offer a dual-pull center lock strap plus a 360-degree wrap-around forearm strap. This unique double center strap pulls on both the outside and inside to keep protection where it should be. Front wraparound strap ensures a snug fit. This keeps the elbow pads close to the body to ensure they stay in place and allow maximum protection.
