For the graphics of the CCM Extreme Flex 5 Pro, CCM has designed the front of the glove to have a large pocket area that transitions seamlessly into a full neck design. This design allows for great visual presentation with the help of the roomy double T-pocket. On the graphics, EF5 has long stripe patterns that run vertically to the glove pocket and create a great visual appeal. The front of the EF5 will have a similar design to the EF4, which has a collar design built for lighter upper coverage. CCM received a lot of feedback on the EF4 glove's 600 degree design that they noted and made some changes to the EF5 glove's latch point. On the palm, the Extreme Flex 5 comes with a game-ready feel, protected by D3O Smart Material throughout the glove for high-performance protection. D3O is an energy absorbing polyurethane material used to absorb shock and prevent tingling in the palm and fingers. The inside of the palm is lined with this D3O material for easy closure and protection. Also, in the internal construction, the CCM has decided to go with Nash fingers for a more comfortable feel and quicker release when wearing this glove. The overall feel becomes more secure and gives the goalkeeper the confidence they need when using a CCM glove to perform at the highest level. On the back, you'll see one of the major changes to this model with the new Flexmotion design, which is a segmented molded HD foam shell for optimal flexibility.
