New for 2020, CCM has unleashed the next iteration of the INLINE of CCM goalkeeper masks. The CCM Axis A1.5 Certified Cateye Mesh Goalie Mask is a shell inspired by the NHL and is packed with new features and materials aimed at improving comfort and, most importantly, protection.
Beginning with the shell of the CCM A1.5, a polycarbonate shell is used to provide protection while shaping for puck deflection in key impact zones.
Internally, you'll see various materials that are strategically placed to provide the best level of protection available. Multi-layered VN foam lines the entire helmet and is designed to protect and provide comfort for the goalkeeper.
Wrapping around the internals, a terry cloth sweatband is comfortable while doing the job a sweatband is meant to do. Below the chin cup, an adjustable foam chin cup cradles the goalie's head in a comfortable position.
Finally, the grill is made of stainless steel and provides high-impact protection for discs that may hit this area.
