New for 2022, CCM is renewing its INLINE Protective Tacks. Backed by science, Tacks protection has been tested and validated at the renowned CCM laboratory to ensure quality and functionality. With updates to the design, protection and comfort aspects, the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Senior Hockey Shin Guards are designed to offer professional protection while improving mobility.

Starting with the Tacks AS-V Pro heads, there's pro-grade JDP construction with D30 smart material protection on the inside plus a protective comfort zone. This zone is designed to disperse the force of impact away from the knee joint, while the D30 helps absorb shock and impact. For added padding and comfort, there is knee padding, which will help keep your knee in place and offer optimal comfort.

Just above the AS-V Pro's kneecaps is a compressed molded EVA foam flexmotion thigh protector. This high-quality foam offers pro-level protection, and the flexible-motion construction helps keep you mobile without interfering with your hockey pants.

Running down to the shin, the Tacks AS-V Pro Shin Guards feature an anatomically fitting PE shin guard that provides players with pro-level protection and durability. Additionally, there is a tape slot that allows players to lock down the hockey tape keeping the pads stable throughout the game. Along with the shin guard is an abrasion resistant bottom pad with smart D30 material. This reinforced bottom protects against impacts and adds durability against interior rubbing.

In the calf area of the Tacks AS-V Pro Shin Guards, CCM incorporated an exposed injection molded calf with D30 shot block protection. This tough, premium exposed calf protector uses D30 smart material for increased shock and impact absorption, giving you elite-level protection from gunshots and blows to the calf area.

Keeping everything secured are the Adaptfit+ straps which include a length-adjustable double calf strap plus a Hyper X Lock padded strap. This adjustable strap will help the shin guards wrap any size calves comfortably, while the Hyper Lock X strap keeps them snug and in place throughout the game.

Inside the Tacks AS-V Pro shin guards is where you'll find CCM's Adaptfit+ liner. This height-adjustable sublimated liner allows for a custom fit and optimal protection, whether you prefer to wear your skate tabs inside or outside your shin guards.
