New for 2022, CCM is revamping its Inline protection tacks. Backed by science, Tacks protection has been tested and validated in the renowned CCM laboratory to ensure quality and functionality. With updates in the design, protection and comfort aspects, the CCM Tacks AS-V Junior Ice Hockey Pants are designed to offer great protection and improve mobility.

Jumping right into the construction of the Tacks AS-V Hockey Pants, CCM has a new maximum coverage anatomical shield design. ASD puts protection at the forefront, providing ultra comfort and a customizable fit. ASD is designed to offer the highest quality protection and comfort, all in a classic fit hockey pant.

The kidney areas of the Tacks AS-V are also well protected thanks to the molded PE caps. These caps provide elite level impact protection, and a sublimated comfort liner will provide maximum player comfort.

Moving to the back of the Tacks AS-V Hockey Pants, players will find an exposed foam spine protector with D30 lite smart material. This spine guard with D30 lite technology offers elite level protection for this sensitive area. Along with that, there is a seamless transition that keeps the hip and tail pads connected for optimal comfort. The smart D30 material will disperse the force of impact in this highly sensitive area, keeping players protected in any situation.

Just below the spine protection, on both sides, is where you'll find the JDP hip caps with D30 lite. This elite level hip cap construction with smart D30 lite material disperses impact force and impact away from the hip joints.

Moving on to the thighs, the Tacks AS-V Hockey Pants feature floatable molded PE foam caps with PE foam. This combination gives players elite-level protection and also great mobility, thanks to the floating look of the pads.

The shell of the Tacks AS-V hockey pants is professionally cut using premium 400D nylon with high abrasion resistant side panels. A new feature is a professional cut: 1" length at the back of the legs and a repositioned internal leg zipper to reduce friction during crossings, for greater overall durability.

To top it off, the Tacks AS-V Hockey Pants feature an internal waist belt with a stabilized belly pad and a 1" long stretch zipper. The adjustable interior waist belt keeps the pants in place during play, while the Protective belly pad offers more coverage and stays where it should.There's also a handy +1" hidden length extension that's great for growth spurts or taller players.
